Radiant heat from the Far Infrared Stone beds warms three times as deeply as conventional saunas.
Bedrock b athing, is a style of heat bath that was introduced to Europe to from Japan. In a Ganbanyoku /Ganbany-Yoku/, bedrock stones are embedded in the floor in a special room. These stones are the size of a single bed, and usually made from a bio positive granite or silica /we are using original black silica conglomerate stones form Hokkaido/ and heated to 42-44°C). The room is air conditioned to keep the temperature slightly below the temperature of the stone beds, and the humidity is controlled between 60-75%.
The Black Silica stones deeply heat the body from within and induce profuse sweating from the sebaceous glands, which will assist in weight loss. This releases unhealthy pollutants /dioxin and heavy metals/ and heightens the body’s detoxification process. Although the spa goer will perspire more than they do in a sauna or steam bath, there is no odour, saltiness or stickiness. It is not recommended to shower for at least two hours after the treatment since the sweat acts as a natural coating for the skin resulting in silky hair and smooth skin. Because heat rises evenly from below, it is a different sensation from a sauna. The Ganbanyoku experience is chemical free and offers a “green” alternative to detoxifying the body. It relieves stress and leaves the entire body warm for a couple of hours (an average body temperature increase of 1 degree). The process is like bathing but without the water.
Existing spas can incorporate Ganbanyoku style stone rock bathing into their existing product mix. Ganbanyoku style stone rock slabs will open up exciting new business opportunities for an existing or NEW spa.
